New Year- New Goals

I don't believe in New Year's Resolutions. I stopped making them years ago.  YEARS ago. I would last a month then- bam no motivation. I would skip a day, then two. When I would skip a day or two I would feel like oh I didn't to it. I wasn't perfect, I can't to it. I've learned something in the last few months and as I look back to see where I learned this little gem I realize that quite a few times this has been the theme of a talk, friendly conversation, or something I've read in blogland.- I am a perfectionist.- And as hard as it is; I need to learn to let go of it. I've started to make some small changes the last few months. I really think this Gunderson's biggest looser has helped me in more ways than just loosing some poundage. One small change has been the way I exercise. I actually have been really good these last 9 weeks. I am trying everyday to work out for an hour - but if it doesn't happen one day I just go right back to it the next. Before I would have just stopped for the week or the month or until I got my motivation back. Just my outlook in small ways has started to change. I'm seeing that I don't have to be my idea of perfect or even perfect at trying. I hope I can keep it going - and if I can't I'll get it again tomorrow. I'll be happy being perfectly imperfect.

SO, this year my sweet little family sat 'round the table and wrote down a time capsule paper for 2010 and some new years goals for 2011. I even joined in. Here I'll share my memories and goals and not K's or B's because I didn't ask them if I could yet and my Miss B is getting very sensitive about what I post on the webisphere and I'll respect that.

My 2010 Year:

-finish 4 personal progress goals

AND what is a post with no pictures: here is the start of our new year 2011

Breeona was having a ton of fun on her old barbie bike.

Thanks Sisi. I really wanted to ride your old girly barbie bike.
