Baseball

Breeona played baseball this year and has such a great time! She played on the ward team. We had the option of putting her on the t-ball team or the coach pitch team- we chose the t-ball team because she has never ever played before. Then we got a call from the stake people saying nope put her on the coach pitch so she wont be with all the 5 year olds. Then guess what? Somehow I ended up being one of the coaches! ahhhh! I have never really played baseball before. Good thing we had another coach to teach the kids what to do and to pitch the ball to them. Here are a few pictures aunt Kelsi took of Breeona playing. One bad thing about being the coach is that I was too busy lugging around bats and balls to take pictures!

She has her eyes closed! Which is nuts becuse she hits the ball almost every time shes up to bat!

Another thing I think is crazy is how she has this natural feel for all sports.Once example is this year one of her first games she hit the ball and it went right to first base, so she got out and was a bit sad. Well that night she came home and told Kevin about it. Kevin, unlike me, has played quite a bit of baseball in his day. He told her that she needed to adjust her stance and aim her swing toward second base. She nods and says ok dad. The very next game thats what she does! I mean I don't think I would have gotten that now, not to menton when I was 7!

I have some awesome friends! Most baseball games he sat with someone because I was helping coach and Kevin had school. It was so nice to know that I didn't have to try to watch him and all the kids.
